Term 2 - Week 8

The Big Sad Wolf was performed by the New Zealand Playhouse

We used supermarket brochures to go 'shopping' for maths.

We have milk delivered to us each day now.
It's so nice to sit and drink while we have a quiet read.
"It tastes creamy, cold and delicious".  Maisie

The containers are folded up by the students and then
recycled and turned into roofing tiles!

Term 2 - Week 7

Room 1 came in to see our marble-runs and have a go using them.

Term 2 - Week 6

We finished our marble-runs and had the final competition.
The winning marble-run took 10 seconds
for the marble to reach the end!
The winner was the one on the far right on the picture below.
They used strips of material and rough cardboard to create more friction.
That was your group Sam!
We miss you and can't wait to have you back in our class!

Term 2 Week 5

Our pea plants are shooting up!

The bean sprouts that the Dolphins reading group are
growing are ready to eat.

We planted some mandarin trees that we will look after.

We picked off all the fruit and ate it...yum!

In our dance unit we practised 'mirroring' , 'shadowing' and 'cannoning'.
